Wolak is guest Principal Clarinet with the Orquesta Filarmonica de Jalisco

Last week’s show at the Brott Music Festival. Lots of fun with premiering Maxime’s piece with Boris Brott himself and members of his National Orchestra Academy!!
On December 10, 2014 Kornel Wolak successfully defended Doctoral Thesis on “Baroque Instrumental Music in the Repertoire of a Contemporary Clarinetist” at I. J. Paderewski Music Academy in Poznan, Poland.
Kornel will premiere the newest multi-media creation by Montreal-based composer Maxime Goulet with Maestro Boris Brott and the McGill Chamber Orchestra on Feb 25th! The piece is called ‘Fishing Story’ and it involves the clarinetist as an actor, performer and a story-teller all at once! Click for more information on this project.
